Gerard believes good lawyers should be approachable and able to explain things in plain English. He understands that listening is the first step towards sound legal advice and is always looking to build meaningful relationships with his clients. As an accredited mediator, Gerard is solutions-focused and leverages shared interests to achieve timely, cost-effective solutions to clients’ legal problems.
Before joining Eastern Bridge, Gerard enjoyed over a decade’s experience working in the golf industry, where he learned how to navigate tricky lies with pragmatic decision-making on and off course. He has lived and worked in a range of places around Australia, including Melbourne, Darwin, and Southeast Queensland -experiences which have helped Gerard become a great communicator with people of a variety of backgrounds.
Outside the office, you might find Gerard missing fairways on the golf course, kicking back playing the saxophone or challenging himself in endurance events. A resolute Western Bulldogs fan, he is doggedly loyal (ha ha) and brings a down-to-earth attitude to both his work and everyday life.
