Matt has been practising law for over 20 years having first qualified in England and Wales, and then in Victoria in 2019. Matt works mainly on retail and other commercial leasing matters.

Matt acts for both landlords and tenants, negotiating, preparing and advising on retail and commercial leases, as well as other leasing matters such as lease transfers, assignments, issuing notices of default and notices of re-entry.

Matt knows how important it is for landlords and tenants to understand what their obligations are under their leases, and realises that advice given to clients should be crystal clear and provided in a straight-talking manner.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and watching all sports, particularly soccer and cricket.
